Immutable Metadata

A Metaplex metadata state where update authority is revoked — name, symbol, and URI are permanent.

A token has immutable metadata when its update authority is null. No one can change the name, symbol, or logo URI ever again. This is the strongest trust signal for metadata integrity — buyers know what they see is what they get.

Only revoke update authority after final metadata is confirmed. Fix typos and broken logos first.
