Price impact is the price movement your own trade causes. A 1 SOL swap in a 1000 SOL pool has ~0.1% impact; a 100 SOL swap has ~10%. Meme coin launches with thin LP have huge price impact for large trades.

Different from slippage: price impact is deterministic (based on pool math), slippage is the tolerance you set for total price change including MEV and market movement.
