Concentrated Liquidity Market Maker — an AMM design (Uniswap V3, Raydium CLMM, Orca Whirlpools) where LPs supply liquidity to specific price ranges.
CLMM pools let LPs concentrate their capital in narrow price bands, earning more fees per dollar deposited when trading happens inside the band. Outside the band, the position stops earning until it moves back.
CLMM is capital-efficient but harder to manage — active LPs adjust ranges. For passive LPs, CPMM is simpler. Meme coins typically launch on CPMM first.
