Solana RPC endpoints are HTTP servers that expose the network via JSON-RPC. Every wallet and dApp needs one. Public RPCs (like api.mainnet-beta.solana.com) are rate-limited; paid providers (Helius, QuickNode, Triton, Alchemy) offer higher throughput and MEV-protected routes.
For sensitive launch transactions, using a low-latency or anti-MEV RPC reduces sandwich attacks and improves confirmation reliability.
