Glossary / Launch Actions
Moving holders from an old token mint to a new one — usually to fix a launch mistake or upgrade token mechanics.
A token migration replaces one mint with another. Holders swap old tokens for new ones via a swap contract or claim site. Legitimate reasons include fixing a mint authority mistake, adding Token-2022 features, or bridging between programs.
Migrations carry high trust risk — buyers must trust the migration contract. Multisig-controlled swap vaults and public audits reduce risk.
The fastest way to internalize a term is to see it live on a Solana token you know. Paste any mint below to run a public Launch Score.
