Glossary / Solana Core
A 12- or 24-word backup phrase that can derive your wallet's private keys — the master key to a self-custodial wallet.
A seed phrase (also called recovery phrase or mnemonic) is a human-readable representation of the master key used to derive your wallet's keypairs. Whoever holds the phrase controls the wallet. Legitimate tools never ask you to enter it.
Store it offline. Never paste it into a browser form, Telegram, Discord, or "wallet checker" website. MakeMeACoin is non-custodial — you sign every transaction in your own wallet, so we never need your seed phrase.
The fastest way to internalize a term is to see it live on a Solana token you know. Paste any mint below to run a public Launch Score.
